Reflecting Ethos Through Design
Fresh Hope is a charity dedicated to changing lives and enhancing communities. Their new office in Sydney embodies their values while providing an inspiring and functional workspace for their team and collaborators.
Nature-Inspired Arrival
Drawing inspiration from Fresh Hope’s brand, the design features a natural landscape at the entrance. Designers used recycled timber flooring, Tasmanian Oak joinery, and cardboard tubing made from recycled paper. Combined with rich planting, these elements create a forest-like reception area. Consequently, the entrance feels welcoming and invigorating.
Light-Filled Social Spaces
Beyond the forest corridor, the office opens up to light-filled kitchen and social gathering spaces. These areas feature recycled paper ceilings and locally crafted joinery. The design fosters ambition and hope while offering an inviting atmosphere for employees and visitors. Moreover, the use of local materials adds a touch of familiarity and warmth.
Energizing and Practical Workspace
The office design balances energy and practicality. Ergonomic workstations, user-friendly technology for teleconferencing, and versatile plug-in/plug-out workstations cater to both collaborative projects and quiet focus. Different areas within the office are designed for various work styles, ensuring productivity and comfort. Therefore, the workspace adapts to the diverse needs of its users.
Biophilic Design for Wellbeing
