Le Comptoir is a project completed in March 2015 by Dutch studio UXUS Design. This new restaurant concept will be implemented in all Campanile hotels.

Description by Uxus:  Leading French hotel chain, Campanile, invited UXUS to design a new restaurant concept catering to business professionals and travellers. The restaurant is part of the Campanile hotel experience and will be launched across all Campanile properties, with pilot locations in the Paris region.

The new experience offers a welcome break from the usual hospitality chains, paying homage to Campanile’s heritage of a “family-run” roadside inn. Designed as a “Modern Inn”, the Le Comptoir restaurant takes a fresh and uncomplicated approach – an open and honest place offering comfort, choice and familiarity.

The space is organized into a series of “rooms” tailored to different needs: from convivial bar and “kitchen” to casual dining, relaxed lounge and work zones. Salon style settings are paired with generous communal areas and domestic touches to create a warm, approachable environment. Photography Kristen Pelou
