The owner of the building had a 3,000 SF office suite on the first floor of his 4-story professional services building that he was having trouble leasing during the pandemic.
Dropbox’s new Mountain View office brought a Silicon Valley presence to their real estate portfolio. The location, just steps away from the Castro Street train station, was meant to attract and retain engineers living in the area.
This is an 8-story 290,000 SF building adjacent to a similarly sized building also occupied by Splunk. Both buildings are located at the prominent South Bay retail center Santana Row.
The Swig Company also wanted to reposition the building’s identity to leverage its prime location, renaming it 444 Castro.
Headquartered in Mountain View, Symantec consolidated their existing offices in the North Bay into one San Francisco flagship workplace to host client and accommodate their existing workforce.
With the interior architecture underway for a five-story renovation, Workday realized there was an opportunity to capture the energy of their culture within their new space.
