SABO project

SABO project is an award winning architecture and design firm working in New York and Paris. Through an optimistic sabo(tage) of each project substance, SABO provides unexpected solutions to a wide variety of cultural and residential projects.

Since its founding the firm’s work has ranged from architecture and interiors to set designs and installations for private and institutional clients, with built projects both in the United States and France.
SABO project has received international awards including the 2018 “40 under 40” Award for best emerging young architects in Europe. The office’s work has also been featured in numerous international publications such as Dwell, Interior Design and New York Magazine.

SABO’s clients and collaborators include the Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Kitchen, Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson, Centre National de la Danse, The Red Hot Organization, Blue Muse Dance, Mendi + Keith Obadike, Pandapanther and the Gowanus Canal Conservancy.

Alex Delaunay, DPLG, Founder and Principal
Alex Delaunay has studied Architecture at London SBU, holds a Diplôme d’Architecture from EAPB in Paris and a Master of Science, in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. He is a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship and was awarded the FIPSE Grant from the US Department of Education and the European Commission. He has co-taught Architecture Design Studios with Fred Levrat at the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, is currently teaching at NYIT School of Architecture and has been a frequent juror at Pratt, NYIT and Columbia University. Alex Delaunay holds a full Architecture License from France.
