Techne Architecture + Interior Design
Technē Architecture and Interior Design is a multidisciplinary Australian studio working across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail sectors. Known for crafting bespoke spaces that enrich the human experience, the studio blends elements of art, engineering, sustainability, environment, and economics to create empathetic and cohesive designs where creative form meets commercial viability.
Founded in 2002 by Nick Travers and Justin Northrop, Technē operates with a fully integrated approach to architecture and interior design, with each discipline informing the other throughout the project lifecycle. Their layered, textural aesthetic has helped shape Australia’s modern design identity and earned international recognition. At the heart of Technē’s practice is a balance between poetic ambition and practical sensibility—resulting in spaces that are both authentic and enduring.
