L’Accostée House is located in the Adstock area, on the shores of Lac St-François. The clients have lived on this beautiful site for a few years and enjoy aquatic activities on the lake.
The layout of the Copper house is simple and functional. Fireplace room, kitchen, dining room, hall, dressing room – combines a cube covered with natural copper. This is the central element of the 1st floor. Inside it fit: a closet, a built-in kitchen, the bearing structures of the building, and a decorative niche with plants.
This Victorian railroad-style house had a series of small rooms from front to back. It was covered by an unfinished attic with one small room at the back of the roof and an unfinished basement below.
Peekaboo House is named by the large box window that hangs from the level 1 addition, where the building is strategically shifted to take advantage of views towards the nearby Punch Park.
The minimalistic style of the redevelopment invokes the austerity of past times. There is a dialogue between the new work and the old medieval house that seeks to marry past and present. The entry of natural light gives form to the volumes, and the fluidity of the spaces is accentuated.
While considering the client’s brief of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house, our design managed to reduce the overall footprint of the brick veneer house and provide generous flowing living spaces with deep connection to the natural suburban landscape and the heritage of the existing house.
Staying in the Bunker Loft is a memorable experience ! Close by and yet withdrawn from the endless buzz of Hamburg. You can enjoy the vibe but have your private retreat after a busy day in the City or at work. With all the luxe you are used to in your own private home. Stay like home while you are on the road.
The concept of the Muraste cottage is based on the archetypal koda, which has been modernized in form and function. The cottage in Muraste consists three koda units – one for sauna, one for livingroom / kitchen and one for bedroom / bathroom.
