The space of the new stair and its design bring light into the center of the entire composition. The Wedge house is a custom family home located in the eastern suburbs of Athens, in the mountainous and full of pine trees area of Pikermi, named Drafi. The site is quite distinctive and has many challenging features. The main complexity is the steep terrain with an almost 20-meter- height-difference from one side of the site to the other.

The Rifugio Pradidali lies at 2278 m a.s.l. and is a renowned departure point for many excursions and climbs in the Pala group in the Dolomites. Mimeus refurbished the old winter bivouac, which is usually used by mountaineers during the Rifugio’s winter closure.
