Sala Clareira invites visitors into a sensory world where urban life and nature converge. Designed by Sala 2 Arquitetura for CASACOR São Paulo 2025, this 42 m² living room reinterprets the exhibition theme “Sowing Dreams.” Moreover, it offers a journey that awakens the senses and slows the mind.
From Forest Hall to Light-Filled Refuge
First, guests step into a low-ceilinged hall draped in forest-green fabric. Consequently, walls and ceilings feel enclosed like a dense jungle. At the same time, Avant carpet underfoot mimics soft grass, while natural scents and gentle bird calls ease stress. Thus, this initial zone of Sala Clareira clears mental clutter and paves the way for deeper relaxation.
Beyond the hall, the room opens up into a high-ceilinged sanctuary. Here, sloped wooden panels draw the eye toward restored windows and historic façades. Translucent blinds filter daylight into a warm glow. Additionally, walnut wood clads the walls—evoking sturdy tree trunks—and mixes with soft textiles to create cozy comfort.
Curved Forms and Artful Details
At the heart of the living area, an organic sofa echoes rolling landscapes. Above it, Amalia Giacomini’s metal-chain artwork, Ondulante, shimmers like moving vines. In front, a sculptural coffee table and generous fireplace foster conversation and togetherness. Meanwhile, a golden armchair from Folio Living commands attention as a radiant focal point—symbolic of the sun breaking through treetops.
Under the high windows, a sleek marble shelf blends modern elegance with timeless materials. Scattered around are signature pieces: EmDoisDesign’s side table, Gustavo Bittencourt’s Bar Bobo cart, sconces by Estúdio Rain and WJ Iluminação, plus a floor lamp by Estudio Dentro. Each element speaks in turn, yet they all harmonize in a poetic, linear dance.
A Timeless, Multisensory Escape
Ultimately, Sala Clareira crafts more than a show room; it builds a bridge between São Paulo’s fast pace and the organic rhythm of nature. Consequently, visitors leave with calm minds and renewed energy. Indeed, Sala Clareira stands as a testament to how design can sow dreams and nurture the senses.
