Salvia Restaurant by Tremend Studio welcomes guests into a Mediterranean-inspired feast for the senses. Located in Kraków’s vibrant heart, this 150 m² space transforms dining into a rich, multi-sensory journey. Moreover, through close collaboration with Chef Marcin Kłyś, the architects wove culinary narratives into every form, texture, and hue. Ultimately, Salvia Restaurant feels like a warm embrace carried on a breeze of fresh sage and olive trees.
Crafting a Mediterranean Ambiance
First, Tremend Studio built the concept around organic lines and natural materials. Consequently, soft curves in the bar’s backlit stone front echo the gentle hills of the Mediterranean coast. Likewise, golden mesh detailing and honey-toned pendant lamps cast a warm glow, while olive trees punctuate the space with verdant life. Thus, even before tasting a dish, diners sense that Salvia Restaurant celebrates nature’s bounty.
Zones for Every Occasion
Next, the interior unfolds in distinct yet connected zones. To the left, the classic dining area hosts grey upholstered chairs and wooden tables ideal for leisurely lunches. Meanwhile, to the right, a cozy lounge features plush armchairs and low lighting—perfect for pre-dinner aperitifs. Beyond, a VIP room offers privacy for intimate gatherings, and at the center, the designer bar with tall stools becomes a stage for cocktail artistry. In each zone, textured stone, velvet cushions, and matte-wood accents harmonize to create a cohesive whole.
Culinary Theater and Interactive Elements
Furthermore, sushi-grade ice in the Fish Market display lets guests select fresh seafood on the spot. As a result, Salvia Restaurant merges showmanship with taste, reinforcing its ethos that food is an experience. In addition, daily menu shifts—from robust midday fare to refined evening specialties—reflect Chef Kłyś’s blend of European, Polish, and Mediterranean influences. Therefore, every visit to Salvia Restaurant unveils a new chapter in its culinary story.
Lighting, Color, and Material Harmony
Meanwhile, the architects balanced earth tones with muted greens and olive hues. Consequently, natural fabrics and noble woods ground the palette, while gold accents add a touch of sophistication. Furthermore, carefully placed lighting fixtures—from geometric ceiling lamps to wall sconces—sculpt the space with layers of light and shadow. As a result, Salvia Restaurant feels both intimate and expansive, inviting diners to linger long after the last course.
In the end, Salvia Restaurant stands as a testament to design’s power to elevate cuisine. By merging modern aesthetics with sensory detail, Tremend Studio created an interior that not only showcases the chef’s vision but also transports guests far beyond the everyday. Indeed, Salvia Restaurant proves that when form, flavor, and atmosphere converge, dining becomes an unforgettable journey.
