Cascading Courts Residence by HYLA Architects

Cascading Courts Residence / HYLA Architects

A series of cascading courts between the house and the party wall forms the basis by which this semi-detached house is organized. From the outside one is scarcely able to see these courtyards due to the screening and deep shadows. The courtyards are covered with a glass roof and timber pergola, which makes them pretty much all weather spaces.

Ecuestre House by Luciano Kruk 9

Ecuestre House / Luciano Kruk

Ecuestre House is located in Costa Esmeralda, 13 km north of the city of Pinamar and 4 hours away from the city of Buenos Aires. Its name makes reference to the stable and the two polo courses it is near to and, this area’s simple architecture has—maybe unconsciously—guided the concept of its design.

Reinforced Concrete House by Felipe Assadi Arquitectos

Reinforced Concrete House / Felipe Assadi Arquitectos

This project is a reinforced concrete house composed of a succession of longitudinal and transverse beams that work together to generate a single structural piece. As always, we prefer to inhabit a structure instead of structuring a room. In this way, we consider the technical feasibility of a project as its actual design resolution; feasibility is not separate from project design.
