Fernando Guerra is a Lisbon-based architectural photographer and co-founder of FG+SG studio. Originally trained as an architect, he brings a deeply thoughtful, human-centered approach to his work, blending clarity, atmosphere, and subtle narrative in each image. Guerra is celebrated for capturing architecture with precision and poetic sensitivity, often including contextual elements—like passersby or shifting clouds—that enrich the storytelling of each space.
Since establishing FG+SG in 1999 with his brother, Sergio, Fernando has played a pivotal role in showcasing contemporary Portuguese architecture to a global audience. His imagery, featured in leading international publications and embellished with accolades like Canon Ambassador recognition and Photographer of the Year, reflects a balance of technical rigor and emotional depth—capturing both the structural beauty of architecture and the life that surrounds it.
