Casa La Quinta is a weekend house located in the town of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. After visiting the site and considering the requirements of the program, the conclusion was to respect the identity of the place, built context and the importance of the height of the neighboring preexistent walls.
In the middle of the forest in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, five vacation houses are dispersed in the land surrounded by mountains. Each house (five with the same typology) consists of 6 volumes positioned in such a way that they generates a central patio. The patio, in addition to views, gives silence and privacy.
The project composition was achieved through a modulation that links interior and exterior spaces through different entrances, surrounding every façade with garden or terrace. The public areas of this modern Mexican home have been designed in the back to take advantage of the broad views. Private areas were arranged in front to exploit and enjoy the sunlight.

Merida House seeks to be a private and intimate place for a family of five. The program is divided into two levels, leaving on the ground floor the public zone, semi-public and services; Upstairs the rooms.
The project consisted of integrating a multifunctional loft into an existing house garden. When the owners acquired the lot next to their house wanted to integrate a new building that had different spaces and was flexible.
The CH-Reurbano project is a full refurbishment of an historic building in “La Roma” Neighborhood, which is perhaps the hottest area now in Mexico City. The project seeks to maintain the existing building as much as possible, as well as enhancing the value of its inherent construction properties.
The project grew out of a house GG very particular commission. Our client, a middle-aged bachelor, wanted to build a weekend retreat in a clearing in a forest, on a property on the mountain.
