Tmolo House, designed by Pyo Arquitectos, transforms an old farmhouse converted into a holiday home for a young family with four daughters. Located in Granda de Abajo, Spain, the house underwent extensive renovation after being untouched for over five decades.

Architect Philip Stejskal adapted a 1910 semi-detached cottage for a young extended family, in Fremantle, Western Australia.
Built in 1910, this ground floor apartment with garden, located near Central Park, undergone a complete renovation that transformed dark compartmented spaces into an open and luminous dwelling. Only structural walls and installations from the upper levels were kept, allowing total reorganization of the program in different layers.

Warehouse re-use in one of Sydney’s most recognised heritage buildings, the distinctive Edwards & Co. building. Behind the arched windows is a new residence, on the roof a large deck and private retreat. With utmost care, the new works uncover, retain and celebrate the existing fabric of the building.
Removing unnecessary partitions, annexing circulation spaces to premises with a practical function and pursuing a direct visual connection with the exterior, are altogether strategies commonly employed when achieving a feeling of spaciousness is required within confined spaces.
