Emerald Star certified homes must achieve net zero energy usage by way of generating electricity from a renewable source. Built with reclaimed wood and metal siding, the house is the perfect compliment to the surrounding trees and the Seattle sunshine.

When the building was made there were used especial products preferable to the environment, which do not generate waste and can be recycled. Also high energy efficiency has been taken into account.
