Reclined within a well-heeled residential enclave, KAP-House reposes behind wild grassland that grows from the remains of the old Malayan Railway. Placed on a plot that was once the sprawling garden of a classic colonial black and white bungalow, the home was imagined as a paradigm of modern tropical living.
On a large private lot at the foothills of the Hill Country, this client wanted their house to be ingrained in nature, rather than up on the hill towards the view; what results is a beautiful play fashioned amongst landscape and building – with each one stealing the spotlight from each other around every bend.
The Legea residential complex is developed in the Kallirachi village of Thassos, on a land parcel outside urban planning zone, which is part of a special natural landscape, with a steep slope and dense vegetation.
The triangular shaped plot has a total area of 13.850 m2 and is oriented South/North. The path to the plot runs alongside a white wall, showing the way to the entrance. Entering the plot, the building reveals itself.
Rodríguez House is located in La Esperanza, a gated community halfway between Pilar and General Rodríguez. This rural urbanization’s great lots are surrounded by polo clubs. Its streets, made out of compact calcrete and crushed stone, are configured in accordance with the area’s longstanding woods.
