This project is for modest yet highly detailed contemporary alterations and additions to an existing detached weatherboard Edwardian residence with a rear Western aspect in Camberwell, Victoria. As well as the proposed living area additions, the brief called for the upgrading of existing bath rooms, wardrobes, improved internal circulation, the provision of a swimming pool, and landscaped utility areas.
A contemporary family home with large open spaces was the core consideration of the client brief for Bloomfield. Designed by FGR Architects, natural light, simple materials, space and height have all been cleverly incorporated to allow a family to entertain and grow into.

Ocean residence is a weekend beach house for a semi retired couple with a large family and extensive corporate guests. The house was designed to entertain large amounts of guests for parties and extended stays.
While considering the client’s brief of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house, our design managed to reduce the overall footprint of the brick veneer house and provide generous flowing living spaces with deep connection to the natural suburban landscape and the heritage of the existing house.
A container vacation house on the Surf Coast in Wye River, Victoria. Designed as a weekend retreat & made from three 20ft shipping containers. Two connect to form the living space with toilet, laundry & entry. The third a sleeping wing with two bedrooms, toilet & shower.
