Designed by Consuelo Jorge Arquitetos, this apartment for a young couple reflects a harmonious blend of elegance, comfort, and smart functionality. The project centers on a seamless integration between the living room, kitchen, and home theater—creating a single, inviting environment where relaxation and social gatherings naturally unfold.
Warm Tones and Natural Materials
With the clients’ preferences guiding the design, the studio embraced a neutral base, enriched by materials such as wood, leather, and textured fabrics. Accents in graphite, mustard, and terracotta introduce contrast without overwhelming the atmosphere. Freijó wood plays a starring role—cladding walls and ceilings in the entryway and powder room, where it adds visual warmth and timeless sophistication.
Living Room and Home Theater as a Unified Experience
At the heart of the social area is a minimalist shelving system that showcases the couple’s collection from ARTSOUL DESIGN. Behind it, a refined Freijó wood panel frames two kinetic collages by artist Livia Frigo, adding an artful layer to the room. A modular off-white bouclé sofa brings softness and flexibility, while linen curtains filter light and ensure privacy. The space is completed with side tables by Jader Almeida and the Serena armchair by Estúdio Bola, upholstered in mustard bouclé—an accent that echoes throughout the home.
Kitchen and Dining: A Cohesive Social Hub
In the kitchen, functionality and design merge in the graphite cabinetry and integrated service doors. The central island is more than a prep station—it’s a daily gathering point that anchors the space. Flowing directly from the kitchen, the dining area features the sculptural FIO table by Jacqueline Terpins in ebonized oak, surrounded by caramel leather chairs. Together, they form an elegant yet relaxed setting for everyday meals and special occasions alike.
Bedroom: Rest, Work, and Personal Style
The couple’s bedroom balances rest and productivity. A fluted Freijó wood panel integrates the bed and fendi-toned nightstands into a single cohesive element. Artworks by Livia Frigo above the bed add a layer of intimacy and artistic expression. While primarily a retreat, the space also accommodates a discreet home office, ensuring functionality without disrupting the cozy, layered feel. Neutral fabrics and textured rugs provide tactile comfort and visual calm.
A Space That Supports Everyday Living
Every element in this apartment was chosen with daily life in mind. From the smart zoning of social spaces to the tactile richness of materials, the home reflects a desire for beauty that doesn’t sacrifice usability. Consuelo Jorge Arquitetos succeeds in delivering a project that supports both relaxation and social connection, making it a warm, refined environment for modern urban living.
