Aqua Verde Houseby DK Studio is a contemporary transformation of a single-family home along Lake Austin. The renovation enhances the home’s connection to its surroundings while introducing a calm, modern aesthetic that elevates daily living.
Exterior Transformation
The design team replaced the dated stone cladding with smooth white stucco, immediately refreshing the façade. At the same time, they added dramatic gables to create architectural interest and strengthen the relationship between the home, the lake, and the expansive Texas sky.
A new roof framing system raised the ceilings, bringing light and volume into the center of the residence. As a result, the interiors feel brighter, more spacious, and more welcoming.
Interior Reconfiguration and Upgrades
Inside, Aqua Verde House underwent a complete reorganization. Custom black-framed windows and steel doors now frame views of Lake Austin, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. The backyard was reimagined with a pool that extends the home’s social and leisure areas into the landscape.
