Architectural Transformation
Originally accessed via a precarious exterior ramp, the entrance to Cliff Dwelling now features a light-filled pavilion that overlooks the lake and opens onto a large rooftop herb garden. This transformation not only enhances safety and accessibility but also elevates the home’s connection to its environment. The renovation introduces a series of stairs, complemented by an elevator, that descends through the three levels of the home, each level offering stunning views of the lake and the limestone cliff.
Integration with Nature
The design philosophy behind Cliff Dwelling emphasizes openness and integration with the landscape. Large windows and multiple decks on both the water and cliff-facing sides of the house allow residents and guests to experience outdoor living on various levels.
