The Coca-Cola HBC office, located in the Business Garden building in Warsaw, spans three floors and covers 5,500 square meters. Designed by the BIT CREATIVE studio, this office space blends the company’s brand identity with a highly functional work environment. The design team aimed to create a workspace that not only aligned with Coca-Cola’s global image but also enhanced productivity and employee well-being by fostering a dynamic and stimulating atmosphere.
Design Elements Rooted in Coca-Cola’s Brand Identity
The design of the Coca-Cola HBC office draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic elements. Upon entering, visitors encounter a reception counter that mirrors the brand’s “Wave” design. This wave motif reappears throughout the office, visible in the lighting and flooring patterns. The reception desk, which features embedded Coca-Cola bottles, sets the tone for the thematic continuity found throughout the space.
Details such as walls adorned with bottle caps forming the Coca-Cola logo and bottle-shaped handles on cabinets emphasize the brand’s identity in a subtle yet effective way. Throughout the office, designers skillfully incorporated Coca-Cola’s colors and product designs to create a cohesive, immersive environment that reflects the brand’s essence.
A Functional Layout that Encourages Collaboration
The layout of the office supports the company’s current work style while providing flexibility for future changes. The open-plan design divides the workspace into sections that accommodate up to 12 people per area, with high partitions ensuring both privacy and effective sound insulation. This setup encourages collaboration while allowing employees to focus on individual tasks without distractions.
Architect Jakub Bubel from BIT CREATIVE highlights the goal of creating a space that could grow with the company and adapt to evolving needs. This forward-thinking approach led to the creation of an office that combines aesthetic appeal with practicality. Elements like acoustic partitions, bituminous carpets, and strategically placed furniture contribute to both the comfort and productivity of the space, making it a pleasant environment for employees.
Themed Meeting Rooms: A Creative Take on Coca-Cola Products
A standout feature of the office is the series of themed meeting rooms, each inspired by one of Coca-Cola HBC’s products. These meeting spaces, located on each of the three floors, bear names like Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, and Monster. Each room’s decor embodies the essence of its respective product, offering a unique setting for meetings and brainstorming sessions.
For example, the Monster room boasts a dynamic, bold design, with a table crafted from two welded engines that adds an energetic character to the space. In contrast, the Kropla Delice room features a natural wood and resin table, evoking a sense of purity associated with the brand. These thoughtful, creative touches transform the meeting rooms into distinct environments that foster creativity and engagement.
Spaces Designed for Relaxation and Informal Collaboration
In addition to workspaces, the Coca-Cola HBC office offers several areas designed for relaxation and casual interactions. Swings, greenery, and informal seating zones provide employees with opportunities to take breaks, relax, and recharge. During the summer months, the terrace becomes a popular spot for unwinding outdoors.
Multiple kitchens and dining areas create additional spaces where employees can gather for informal conversations or meetings. These communal areas encourage team bonding and foster a collaborative work culture. The combination of formal workspaces and informal relaxation areas ensures that the Coca-Cola HBC office offers a balanced environment that nurtures both creativity and collaboration.
The Coca-Cola HBC office in Warsaw illustrates how thoughtful design can seamlessly integrate a brand’s identity with functionality. By combining creative elements with a carefully planned layout, the BIT CREATIVE team crafted a workspace that is both inspiring and practical, offering employees a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
