In the heart of the Mediterranean, in Paphos, stands a cozy house with an area of 400 square meters, offering its owners harmony with nature and the warmth of a home. Every morning, fresh sea breezes waft through its spacious rooms, while the evening sun gently embraces the walls, creating a unique atmosphere of comfort.

The interior of this house skillfully blends the beauty of the surrounding nature with the comfort of modern living. Filled with light and air, it employs a variety of textures and forms in the decor, furniture, and textiles, echoing the picturesque rocky shores and soft nut groves. Natural materials — wood, stone, brass, glass, linen, and velvet — are not only visually appealing but also provide pleasant tactile sensations. A concise palette of creamy, beige, and gray tones serves as an ideal backdrop for graphic black accents and delicate color inserts, giving each room a stylish and confident look.

This story begins with a family who reached out to me through a recommendation on Instagram. A successful businessman and a doctor are raising an eight-year-old son who is passionate about football and two older daughters. They previously rented a house in Cyprus but decided to create their own cozy corner — a villa with six rooms. On the first floor, there is a living-dining area, a kitchen, and a study-guest room; on the second floor, there is a master bedroom, a separate children’s bedroom, and a guest room. The third floor features a covered terrace that offers stunning views.

The villa was handed over by the developer with finished interiors and built-in wardrobes. My task was to create a harmonious space without significant changes. It was important to add a shoe cabinet and a coat closet so that guests could conveniently store their belongings. Additionally, the guest room on the second floor required two single beds.

Throughout the process, it was vital to build trusting relationships with the clients. We had several meetings that helped me better understand their lifestyle, values, and desires.
– Living Room: Stylish armchairs and a sofa from Bodema create a cozy corner for relaxation. An elegant coffee table from Poliform, wall lamps from Flos, and the unique Moooi Mechmatic light fixture set the atmosphere. The built-in furniture crafted by a local carpentry workshop perfectly fits the overall concept.

– Dining Room: The Pianca Inari dining table with comfortable chairs from Praddy serves as the center for family gatherings. A marble console from Laskasas and a cabinet from Miniforms add elegance to the space. The Moooi Mechmatic light fixture creates soft lighting, while the Etna Mirror Antique art piece brings unique accents.

– Study-Guest Room: This multifunctional space can serve as both a study and a guest bedroom. The Bodema sofa with a pull-out option, a coffee table from Living Divani, a chair from Praddy, a Gan Lan Natural rug, and stylish accessories from Flos and Togas create harmony. Curtains from Harlequin and a painting by Natalya Tuganova add sophistication.

– Guest Bedroom: For the guest room on the second floor, we selected two single beds Felis Clyde with bedside tables from Bonaldo, a stylish table from Olo, and a rug from De Dimora. The inspiring design is complemented by Flos light fixtures and textiles from Zara Home and Togas.

– Children’s Bedroom: In the boy’s bedroom, who is passionate about football, an important element is the wallpaper featuring a football player. Additionally, a Cocomat bed, a chair from Laskasas, a table and chair from Ikea and Miniforms, and shelves from Magis create a comfortable and stylish space for play and study.

– Master Bedroom: This room exudes tranquility and comfort. A luxurious bed from Bodema, a console and pouf from Laskasas, a dresser from Momenti, and a Mohebban Berber rug make the space elegant and inviting. Light fixtures from Zara Home, textiles from Togas, and a painting by Natalya Tuganova complete the composition.

Thus, this project became not just the realization of a fashionable design, but the creation of a true home filled with meaning and love, where every detail is carefully thought out and evokes an emotional response.
