A Historical Evolution
Originally, the term “foyer” referred to a hearth space. Today, it describes a social hall for refreshment and relaxation during breaks. The contemporary foyer retains this essence, now enhanced with workspaces for both short-term and long-term tasks. Serving multiple purposes, it acts as a showroom for the Marslab store concept, a coworking hub, an occasional event venue, and a photography studio. This space uniquely combines industrial style, sophisticated design, and a serene atmosphere, ideal for focused work within a coworking setting.
An Inspiring Environment
The spirit of the place, along with carefully selected products, creates an inspiring and functional environment, particularly appealing to design enthusiasts. Each area is purposefully designed for product presentations, creative coworking meetings, or memorable events. The foyer allows you to showcase your products and projects in ways that highlight their uniqueness and quality. Designed to create a creative backdrop, the space aims to leave a lasting impression on its users. The dual functions of coworking hub and showroom complement each other perfectly. Additionally, the coworking hub facilitates effective business meetings and collaboration with other creative individuals, surrounded by contemporary Czech and international design.
The Showroom Concept
A key feature of the Foyer project is its role as a showroom concept store, Marslab. This space merges objects from local designers and artists with products from smaller European furniture manufacturers. The Foyer-Showroom emphasizes curated products from the Marslab portfolio. Highlighting the space is a light fixture by Jiří Krejčiřík, positioned above a table by Viccarbe, and surrounded by comfortable chairs from the esteemed Italian manufacturer Arrmet. The meeting room showcases chairs from the Arrmet Kiyumi collection and a distinctive light fixture by Jaroslav Chramosta. The entrance features an installation with soft seating, including a sideboard and coffee tables from nozomi.furniture, complemented by a sofa and armchair from Comforty.
Art and Design Integration
The foyer, attracting art lovers, integrates artistic objects from Kombo studio and paintings by Patrik Kriššák and Maxima Havlíček throughout the space. Designed by mar.s architects, this project aims for maximum harmony between aesthetics and functionality, creating a space full of personality and quality. By blending workspaces, a showroom, and art, the contemporary foyer stands out as a versatile and inspiring environment.
