Four Bayes Beach House by buck & simple redefines coastal living through a blend of elegance, warmth, and functionality. Designed for a young family, the project reflects the studio’s passion for creating timeless architecture that connects people to their surroundings. With its refined materials, curved forms, and open flow, the home captures the relaxed rhythm of life by the sea.
A Modern Sanctuary by the Coast
Four Bayes Beach House sits in a prime coastal location, offering both tranquility and easy access to nature. The design focuses on creating a calm, restorative environment where every space encourages connection—to family, to light, and to the outdoors. Large glazed openings frame ocean views while welcoming in natural light and fresh air. The result is a home that feels open and grounded, elegant yet approachable.
Material Warmth and Natural Harmony
Inside, the palette of materials establishes a sense of calm continuity. Travertine crazy pave flooring extends across the living zones, setting a natural foundation that echoes the tones of the surrounding landscape. Fluted tiles and American oak add tactile depth, while soft textures balance the home’s modern geometry.
The bespoke fireplace serves as the central feature of the living area. Its sculptural form anchors the room, bringing both visual focus and a cozy heart to the interior. Every finish has been selected for its ability to age gracefully, reinforcing the project’s philosophy of timeless design over trend.
Flow and Connection
Curves and gentle transitions define the spatial experience of Four Bayes Beach House. Rounded corners and soft-edged surfaces link each room visually and physically, allowing the spaces to flow effortlessly into one another. This continuous rhythm enhances comfort while maintaining a sense of unity throughout the home.
Full-height glazed doors open completely to connect the interior with the outdoor terraces and pool area. This seamless integration allows the family to move freely between the inside and outside, embracing a lifestyle that prioritizes natural light, fresh air, and shared experiences.
Coastal Living, Elevated
Four Bayes Beach House by buck&simple demonstrates how contemporary architecture can embody ease, luxury, and sustainability. Through a careful balance of crafted detail and open design, the home feels refined yet deeply livable. It invites its occupants to slow down, gather, and enjoy each day in harmony with the coastal landscape.
