The Louie Art Castle in Chengdu, meticulously designed by French architect Anthony Béchu and with interior design by Cheng Chung Design (CCD), is a modern homage to French classical architecture. Over a decade in the making, this project mirrors the grandeur of the Château de Fontainebleau, yet introduces a fresh dialogue between historical elegance and contemporary design. The interior’s clean lines and bold colors reflect CCD’s commitment to merging classical elements with modern aesthetics, creating a space that is both serene and richly textured.
A Minimalist Approach to Luxury
The hotel’s interior finishing embraces minimalism, favoring purity through the use of simple, refined lines and a sophisticated palette of pure white and elegant black. These colors, accented by vibrant red lacquered panels, introduce a dynamic contrast that infuses the space with a sense of freedom and purity.
