Elmor Studio designed the Modern Duplex in Curitiba with a perfect balance of luxury and practicality, with open and integrated spaces to create a connected living. Architect Jorge Elmor took the concept of integration to the extreme, turning a traditional duplex into a warm and cohesive home for a couple who loves to entertain.
A Flowing Ground Floor
On the ground floor, sliding doors connect each room, merging the interior with the outdoor kitchen and barbecue area. Inspired by Le Corbusier’s modernist ideas, Elmor designed spaces for every moment of the residents’ daily lives, without compromising style. At sunset the lighting changes and the space becomes warm and cozy and you can see the beauty of this modern retreat.
In the social area, a metal table suspended from a central pillar is both functional and a statement piece. With its rotating feature it can be adjusted and is perfect for gatherings and entertaining. The terrace has a retractable roof, so you can enjoy the outdoors in any weather and still have the natural light inside.
A Retreat on the Second Floor
Elmor Studio redesigned the second floor, originally an open balcony, into a private retreat for the bedrooms and bathrooms. The main suite is like a spa, a peaceful oasis to relax. This floor is intimate and calm, so the couple can escape the chaos of their busy lives.
Luxury and Details
Throughout the duplex classic elements like stone, wood and dark flooring bring warmth and luxury. Solid lamps by Jorge Elmor in the hall set the tone of elegance as you enter. Niemeyer armchairs and DCW éditions lamps by Alma Light in the social area combine iconic furniture and lighting with the couple’s style.
In the end this Modern Duplex by Elmor Studio is a perfect balance of classic luxury and modern living. From socializing to retreating, every detail is a sophisticated urban life in Curitiba.
