Biasol Design Studio (pronounced ‘b–are–zoul’) is a full-service design studio founded on passion and integrity. We specialise in interiors, buildings, products and branded environments – our integrated working method produces diverse outcomes to the values of your brief.
Established in 2012 by Jean-Pierre Biasol, the studio is based in Melbourne and operates internationally as a team of designers and architects. We deliver compelling hospitality, residential, workplace and commercial environments, and our hands-on involvement during every phase demonstrates our commitment to design beyond expectation.

From the outside, Casa Atrio has the character of an Italianate-style terrace, intertwining decorative classical architecture with a Victorian-era home.
A modern warehouse conversion in the creative hub of Cremorne, 10-12 Gwynne Street is a space that fuels design collaboration with zones defined by aesthetically transparent glass framework and distinguished by bespoke details enhanced beneath a flood of natural light from its exposed ceiling.
Located in Melbourne’s iconic Yve building, Biasol Studios were commissioned to renovate the 500-square metres living space into a luxurious penthouse. Biasol rezoned and designed all the living areas; kitchen, living, dining, breakfast area, powder room and laundry.
Behind an elegant Victorian facade in Prahran, this chic renovation creates a refined living space for a young family. Infused with classic Parisian style, the finely detailed kitchen became a hub for the family’s day-to-day activities, with every element configured to maximise functionality.
For the Grind team, this project represented the next step in the growth of their business, marking their transition from successful coffee and cocktail venues to a full-scale restaurant and cocktail bar.
Located in a former bank on a prominent corner site, Captain Grey is an elegant art deco-styled cafe in Essendon’s main shopping strip.
Holborn Grind was completed in October 2014 by Melbourne-based Biasol Design Studio. The bar has an area of 80 sqm and is located in London’s Holborn, United Kingdom.
