The studio was founded in 2016 by Jessica Wu and Mengjie Liu, in response to the growing demand for their distinctive design aesthetic and clever use of material details in an architectural, interior and industry design context.

MAIA ACTIVE is an activewear brand co-founded by two Chinese designers. It emphasizes sports aesthetics, and strives to provide Asian females with lightweight, comfortable and stylish products.
SAMO Store is a high-end menswear brand under JNBY Group. There are two more special points in this project. One is that we chose slotted granite stone, glazed orange handmade bricks, the contemporary dot floor and chaotic metal aluminum board.
The Oxalis restaurant has a large terrace on the north side facing the Wusong River, which means there are great views. The roots of the “Oxalis” name can be traced to 2008, at Restaurant BRAS when Chef Jonas started to work with Michel BRAS where together with the kitchen team …
“Opening” is the first thing we did for this Modern Tea Ceremony House. We opened the façade and left 1/3 of the space completely connected with the outdoor. We hope that the guests can feel the story of the interior and see our tea gardens and products at first sight.
