Corner View House was built by Architect and Certified Passivhaus Designer Tom Bell for his partner Sophie Bell managing director at the creative agency Toast and their family Isla (7yrs) and Ada (5yrs) and their dog Woody.
The design cabins of Hello Wood and TreeHouses were built in a hidden corner of the Balaton Uplands. Resolving the problems of the shrinking, ageing population of villages with few job opportunities is one of the challenges Hungary needs to tackle.
The In Between House is situated on a typical Vancouver lot within a post war neighbourhood with a mix of original 1950’s L plan modern bungalows, and post 1990’s infill houses.
Concrete designed an office space that embodies this communal spirit: a place where people can come together to brainstorm, create and empower each other.
Inspired by the conservation setting, it provides a contemporary interpretation of the surroundings whilst combining this with the requirements of the occupants to create a peaceful home.
Casa Franca is summarized in two initially rectangular volumes that overlap each other and create a small balance. They appear to be blocks of different finishes that have been casually stacked, facing the sea.
The Civil Engineer House has been cut out on the front floating slab to create a beautiful night view projection, creating a minimal, unconventional and captivating elevation.
