The Wine Bar Reisten space needed brightening and connecting to the exterior. We cut extensive openings located opposite one another. The viewer can thus see the house from the entrance.

The general tone of the apartment is composing by 2 tones of wood & a spectrum of neutral earthy colours, creating a decompressing atmosphere, with a pinch of Japanese Minimal touches
Part of a family compound, the home is positioned at the edge of a meadow, amid existing evergreens, spruce and gambel oak trees.
The four old wood-frame cottages along the garden mews at 1338 Filbert Street were in terrible shape in 2007—severely deteriorated, rat infested, and in complete disrepair. The asphalt roofing had failed, and the original wood siding was 60 percent gone. The paint was peeled off, dry rot had destroyed much of the framing, and the concrete foundations were cracked.
The Bladerunner house was inspired by the client’s personality and love of Brutalism, to come together in a fun, adventurous exploration of materiality.
The apartment is located in a building built between the 50s and 60s of the last century in Cuneo. The approach was consistent with the original style, both in the distribution of spaces and in the use of materials.
