The project involves the restoration of a small apartment for tourist use in the historical centre of Mantova. The apartment BROLETTOUNO belongs to a long design research path, which emerges in various interventions on built heritage.
Mork-Ulnes Architects have recently completed Mylla, a compact yet expansive cabin north of Oslo in the Norwegian forest. Mylla breaks apart the traditional rectangular cabin house plan into a pinwheel which radiates into the landscape to both frame four distinct views
The project was commissioned by a client, a single man who wanted to update and transform the interior of the 33 square metre flat, so it was a place with all facilities to meet the modern human needs. This multifunctional flat is located in a historic house in centre of Moscow.
Hibou House was designed for a young family that values connection – both with one another and with their friends and neighbours. The renovation thoughtfully updates an existing traditional 1950’s house for a more modern lifestyle – one that feels relaxed and comfortable yet easily adapted for entertaining.
In a sleek, modernist tower adjacent to Manhattan’s Hudson River, create a floor-through residence without compromising the architectural integrity of the iconoclastic building and it’s four exposures of glass while responding to the shifted geometry along the water’s edge of the river beyond.
The new design frames expansive views at all floors, and embraces an open plan at the living levels. The rear of the Noe Valley residence is unapologetically modern in expression with asymmetrical massing and scissoring corten steel and cast concrete walls by landscape architects Surface Design Inc.

Bogavante house is located in an temporary housing development near to the Paracas Natural Reserve overlooking the Bay. The particular climatic conditions of the place are solved by laying a solid base that serves as a barrier for the strong winds of the afternoon.
