Permanent Weekender is the fulfillment of a dream—to live among the trees with stunning views of the water. Designed thoughtfully, the home offers a unique blend of comfort, privacy, and a deep connection to nature.
Thoughtful Design: Balancing Privacy and Openness
The layout of Permanent Weekender is cleverly divided into public and private wings. These two wings frame a raised courtyard, open on one side to capture breathtaking views of the surrounding environment. This courtyard provides a sheltered space, ideal for relaxation and refuge from the elements.
The division into distinct spaces allows residents both privacy and communal areas. As a result, the home feels balanced and well-organized, perfect for modern living.
Natural Materials and Light-Filled Spaces
Permanent Weekender embraces natural materials and abundant sunlight to create inviting, interlocking spaces. The home features a carefully chosen palette of recycled brick, concrete, and recycled blackbutt timber. These materials offer warmth and texture, enhancing the home’s natural appeal.
The use of tactile materials not only highlights their inherent beauty but also ensures the home feels welcoming and grounded. Large windows and open spaces allow natural light to flood the interiors, creating calm, airy environments that encourage relaxation and mindfulness.
