Over the past decade Cushing Terrell has provided design expertise for Rock Creek Cattle Company, a place offering the experience of a Montana dude ranch with luxury lodging/cuisine, spa, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, archery, off-road adventures, lake/river kayaking and rafting, as well as meeting space, all wrapped around a world-class Tom Doak 18-hole championship golf course. Cushing Terrell has been tasked with creating and developing specific projects for the club that would enhance the membership’s value and enjoyment of the facility; all while staying within the luxury western thematic of the club.
One of those projects included a Pool, Outdoor Kitchen, and Game Barn Complex, and the task of producing it years after the original inception of the club so that the elevations resembled the rest of the buildings in both style and vintage barn wood materials were key in our success. Procuring materials and suppliers were also paramount in completing this task.
The programming of this new and exciting family space needed to accommodate a number of elements for the members, including outdoor kitchen with seating, saltwater pool, kiddy pool, hot tub, covered game barn with wi-fi/game consoles/TVs, lawn activity area, and bathrooms.
