Newly-completed summer Kimito Island cabin project in the Finnish Archipelago, called Project Ö, where “Ö” means ‘an island’ in Swedish. We purchased the 5-acre island, on the edge of the Archipelago National Park, two years ago and have since built the main cabin with a sauna and the workshop.
The Green Camp features rectangular forms that seem to have been pushed and pulled out of the floor plan, flat roofs at varying heights, and numerous floor-to- ceiling windows. The stained green eastern white cedar has random-widths and the windows are recessed in the double stud wall construction.
The plot just outside Stockholm is located in a scenic area where mostly weekend homes are inserted among pine trees and rocks. Six Walls House became early in the process a working title. The plot is long and narrow and extends between the road and the water.
ELEGANT MANSION is a local residential property development, which features three kinds of low-density architectural forms including Oriental private house, innovative stacked villa and high-rise building. The project is the sales center of the property development, which also serves as a club for the occupants.
