At the foot of the Golovec hill, where the hustle and bustle of the city begins to subside and the city meets nature or the forest, stands an apartment building where a young intellectual, a cosmopolitan, wanted to create his own little piece of paradise.
The spatial design of the Harmony apartment was read as a journey or a series of views through the changes from narrow to more open spaces and vice versa. We wanted to create a harmony of opposites
When our team was chosen to design a new interior in one of Ljubljana’s newest buildings, the apartment was practically ready to move in – painted, with all the hardware installations, oak laminated parquet and a completed bathroom with ceramic tiles and sanitary equipment.
With the preservation of some old elements in the interior and a clever reuse of materials we have recreated our client’s desire for an industrial home –Apartment Under the Roof – one that can be found in any of the world’s metropolises.
The most beautiful discovery while working on Shy Citizen Apartment was definitely a natural stone wall in the bathroom, which gives it a very special touch – some kind of a reminder that despite the new appearance of the apartment is still part of the Castle Hill.
