The Brisa House by FCstudio reimagines the concept of home by seamlessly combining design, sustainability, and innovation. Standing tall with its vertical structure, the house offers expansive sea views that enhance the living experience. Large windows and strategically placed balconies maximize visual contact with the ocean and surrounding nature, creating an immersive environment for residents.
Like a metallic container placed above exposed concrete walls, this house establishes two types of relationships with the surroundings. The upper floor can be closed 100% to block sunlight, guarantee the privacy and acoustically isolate intimate spaces.
The design of the Nova York Apartment translated the family’s emotional desires into interior design, at the same time considering its necessary and particular functionality.
The biggest challenge was the conversion of a compartmentalized apartment into a completely integrated space, rethinking the way of living of two young brothers. The living room, TV room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, balcony and office have become part of a single space.
The Box House, located in a residential neighborhood of low verticalization in the city of São Paulo, was designed for a young architect (Flavio Castro), to himself.
The integrated rooms, which occupy part of the original terrace, forming a large space containing furnishings chosen and/ or developed by FCstudio. The chromatic dimensions and language of each piece have been established during the project in order to create an coherent atmosphere with the sensations persued in each environment: comfort, functionality, informality and intimacy.
This studio apartment bears the name of Maranhao and it belongs to a young bachelor publicist with an active and modern lifestyle. Initially, this space was a family apartment but owner’s wish was to change, modernize and adapt everything to his lifestyle.
