Our project fully preserves the internal layout and marks the internal and external spaces, including elements of different scales, in order to redefine the hierarchies and the itineraries.
The design of this detached single-family house was commissioned to us by a couple with the dream of retirement living in the middle of nature.
A young family of four came to us to update an original 1950’s California Ranch home nestled above The Mesa. With a modest budget and an owner savvy in both construction and design, we were able to renovate the existing house and add an additional 600 SF
Atelier 22 House is a carefully considered, custom-fit, 6,650 square foot which includes a 1,150 square foot finished lower level, seven bedroom, and seven and a half bath residence in Amagansett with a fully furnished elective.
For this San Francisco flat, Maydan Architects elegantly transformed an aging 1930’s apartment into an ultra-modern gem, with a focus on luxury and functionality.
Located just off a busy retail/commuter street in Toronto this house was conceived as a simple architectural proposition. A box with one simple spatial gesture that attempts to refine quite common social orientations within the home.
The Runxuan Textile Office is located in Zhangcha, which is a famous textile town in Foshan, China. Most villages here have an industry park, and textile workshops are scattered throughout the town.
