In the bustling city of Taipei, Taiwan, FWS_work has transformed a small 700-square-foot apartment into a serene and inspiring home and studio for an artist. This thoughtful design maximizes the apartment’s high ceilings and abundant natural light, creating a peaceful environment that fosters creativity and introspection.
Located by the Gin Lon Lake, Xizhi, “A Bright Spot in the Mountains” is only a window away from nature. This residence, occupied by two adults, a child, and their pets, features breathtaking mountain views outside its French windows.
The house features an attractive pink ceiling decorated by its previous owner, and decorations that remain avant-garde looking despite them being designed over two decades ago. However, because the house has a low ceiling, strong colors imbue the house with a sense of stress.
The Wang residence project is for a young couple with a two-year-old child. The owner has lived in the foreign country for a long time, having the special feeling for the neighborhood of Xindian River, where he used to live in the childhood.
The house owner of this case has been yearned to go back to the house where he grew up. Years later, the owner finally bought it back and renovated the house to be private rest house, reviewing the good times with friends and family.
