Vo Trong Nghia Architects
Vo Trong Nghia Architects (VTN), established in 2006 with offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, is a pioneering Vietnamese practice dedicated to “Greening the City.” A multidisciplinary team of international architects, engineers, and designers collaborates on cultural, residential, and commercial projects worldwide, uniting contemporary design with traditional Vietnamese techniques. VTN’s signature use of lushly planted green walls, hanging vines, and sunken landscapes—combined with bamboo trusses, perforated blocks, cooling water systems, and shaded terraces—creates buildings that harmonize nature, vernacular methods, and modern materials.
Driven by a commitment to sustainable urbanism and inspired by light, wind, and water, VTN explores new paradigms of green architecture for the 21st century. Every project balances functional performance and energy efficiency with local craftsmanship and environmental stewardship. In partnership with Wind and Water House JSC, a specialist in eco-friendly construction, VTN ensures that its designs are realized to the highest quality standards, contributing to healthier, more vibrant cities across Vietnam and beyond.
