Savannah College of Art and Design
Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution of higher learning located in Savannah, Georgia. Founded in 1978 by Paula S. Wallace and Richard G. Rowan as the Savannah College of Art and Design: The Center for Creative Arts (SCAD-CCA), it was established to provide talented students with an opportunity to pursue their chosen field without limiting themselves by financial constraints or geographical location.

Virginia Commonwealth University
Virginia Commonwealth University is a public research university located in Richmond, Virginia. The university was founded as the Medical College of Virginia in 1838 and became the VCU Medical Center in 1968.
VCU has been recognized by U.S News & World Report as one of America’s best colleges for its graduate programs in education and business administration, as well as its undergraduate programs in communication studies and architecture/interior design. In 2018-2019 QS World University Rankings ranked VCU No. 87 overall worldwide, however it did not make any subject rankings because there were less than 200 institutions evaluated that year.
Carnegie Mellon University
Carnegie Mellon University is a private research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1900 by Andrew Carnegie as the Carnegie Technical Schools, it has been known by its current name since 1967.
Carnegie Mellon is one of only two schools to produce the founders of both Google and Pixar: Larry Page and Sergey Brin (who also co-founded Google), along with John Lasseter (creator of Disney’s Toy Story). Located in Pasadena, California and founded in 1930, Art Center College of Design offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. The school’s most popular majors are graphic design and industrial design. Its most famous alumnus is Michael Graves who went on to become a well-known architect who created the Humana Building in Louisville Kentucky as well as the Portland International Airport expansion project that was awarded an American Institute of Architects Honor Award for Architecture (AIA).
