Worldwide Express Headquarters lifts the spirit of Dallas’ Deep Ellum and offers a high‑energy hub for the shipping giant’s fast‑growing, hybrid workforce. Designed by Corgan, the new two‑floor office crowns The Stack and invites employees, partners, and guests to connect while looking out over the downtown skyline.
Flexible Work Settings that Fuel Connection
At first glance, the reception desk flows straight into a café‑style break room, so chance conversations happen without effort. Floor‑to‑ceiling glass wraps the perimeter, filling every workstation with daylight and unbeatable views. Meanwhile, operable glass walls turn training suites and conference rooms from private to shared in seconds, supporting workshops in the morning and team scrums after lunch. Integrated tech—camera bars, wireless presentation tools, and ceiling mics—keeps remote colleagues fully present, boosting collaboration wherever staff choose to log in.
Deep Ellum Character, Modern Comfort
Although the plan is future‑forward, the materials salute the neighborhood’s industrial roots. Corrugated steel panels and a mural of lotus blooms and a crouching tiger nod to local street art. Handmade clay vessels line the monumental stair, while retro pinball machines and pendant speakers transform an industrial lounge into an after‑hours playground. In quieter corners, an intimate library with mid‑century chairs offers heads‑down focus or small‑group brainstorming.
Hospitality Touches that Champion Culture
To nurture community, Corgan layered hospitality cues throughout the office. Cozy sofas face the Dallas skyline; swivel armchairs circle low tables for quick chats. Black wallcoverings with gold accents and framed oil portraits of animals in tailored suits raise the cool factor. Nearby, State Fair posters and jazz‑era photos of Leadbelly and Blind Lemon remind teams that bold creativity—and a bit of fun—built the city they serve.
How Worldwide Express Headquarters Sets the Pace
Midway through the workspace, a breezy corridor lined with glass‑fronted offices links every zone, reinforcing transparency and teamwork. Above all, the design proves that a hybrid office can feel both productive and playful, drawing people back not out of duty but desire. By merging transportation heritage with modern tech and Deep Ellum swagger, Worldwide Express Headquarters delivers a setting where employees feel proud, connected, and ready to drive the company’s next wave of growth.
