Norm Architects of Denmark used industrial pendant lights, woollen blankets and reclaimed wood to create rustic Scandinavian dining rooms at Höst, a new restaurant in Copenhagen. This collaboration between Norm Architects and Danish designers Menu is a unique and rustic addition to the restaurant brand Cofoco‘s nine other restaurants across Copenhagen.

Host Restaurant is located at the corner of the streets Nørre Farimagsgade and Ahlefeldtsgade. The gastronomic foundation for Höst is Nordic produce and the turn of the season, combining traditional methods of cooking and flavours with a modern understanding of Nordic food as well as its future.

Höst has stucco brick walls along with wooden frameworks, uniting a simple and rustic interior design with disciplined architecture and the delights of the countryside. Host Restaurant has won three international design awards, including the award as the world’s best-designed restaurant at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. Courtesy of Norm Architects
