Projected by CH + QS arquitectos, B House is inspired by the fields with yellow flowers from Berrocal, Segovia, Spain. In the spring, the meadow is rich in yellow flowers, while in the summer crops of cereals are a big wide yellow sea. In autumn, the dried leaves form yellow ash carpets and in the winter, the yellow lichens decorate the blocks of ash. The land owned by the architecture firm was purchased 15 years ago, and after years of “yellow contemplation”, the architects have decided to build a small house, a retreat with two points of view, east and west. To the west, a nearby view of rocks, moss, brambles and ancient ash. And to the east, the distant dawn over the yellow mountains. The space is small, because the ceilings are low but this is compensated by the large windows and glass walls that make room for plenty of natural light and a beautiful view over the meadow. Warmed by the shade of the wood, the interior gives you a feeling of comfort and relaxation, B house offers the opportunity for unique moments spent in the middle of the nature.
