Boulevard Beach House evokes the fond memory of an elevated timber beach house while offering a fresh, contemporary take. Drawing inspiration from simple, elegant forms and practical, efficient spaces, the design feels both entirely new and surprisingly familiar.
Harmonizing with the Coastal Environment
Moreover, the house harnesses the sun’s energy while providing shelter from Bass Strait’s extreme weather. Carefully placed apertures capture incredible sea views without compromising privacy. Consequently, residents enjoy breathtaking ocean vistas while remaining secure and connected to the rugged coastline. Furthermore, every detail is engineered to withstand powerful winds and salty air, ensuring lasting performance in a harsh marine setting.
Retaining the Garden and Local Character

This approach creates continuity with the past, while stained cypress-pine weatherboards are selected to age gracefully into a silver-gray patina.
