Casa Paris by Nildo José marries French sophistication with Brazilian warmth in a unique fusion of cultures and experiences. Designed for a family of five who cherish Brazilian art, architecture, and furniture, this 480m² house in Paris offers personality and international flair while honoring its classic base.
Elegant, Functional Spaces Across Five Floors
The design takes advantage of the home’s classic elements, such as a striking staircase that serves as a sculptural centerpiece. Each of the five floors provides well-resolved, functional spaces for everyday living. For instance, the living room features high ceilings and large windows that overlook treetops, flooding the space with light. In this room, design pieces by Jorge Zalszupin, Charlotte Perriand, Flavio de Carvalho, Serge Muille, Martin Eisler, and Jan Eikselius coexist in harmony with a contemporary white shelf and family art. This setting creates a warm area perfect for reading, receiving guests, and relaxing together.
Thoughtful Design for Every Family Member
The rooms for teenagers boast practical, light-filled designs that make them ideal for rest and home-office needs. In the couple’s suite, the original fireplace has been preserved and refreshed with a new travertine coating. Above it, custom shelves display books and cherished artworks. Moreover, vintage mustard armchairs and a matching rug add character and comfort.
Inviting Outdoor Living
The completely open balcony is a favorite during hot summer days. It features a support kitchen that hosts intimate dinners and creates a cozy spot for friends and family to gather. In addition, a lush garden takes center stage, creating a small oasis where nature blends seamlessly with the interior spaces.

The project prioritizes a balanced environment that keeps the family together while allowing for individual spaces. It carefully integrates Brazilian works into the French context in a delicate, cozy manner. In short, Casa Paris exemplifies pure sophistication with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a warm and inviting home that celebrates cultural diversity and refined design.
