City View Residence from Austin, Texas, is distinguished by a minimalist architectural approach with a simple divided volume, with a range of reduced materials both in number and amount and with large areas of windows and glass walls. This approach reflects the owner’s values and lifestyle and his desire was architectural expressed by Dick Clark + Associates. Configured for entertainment, the living room is dominated by the glass walls that together with the large sliding doors from the dining room invites you outside by the pool to enjoy the spectacular views of Austin city. The plan of the house is very open, there are visual connections between the living room, dining area and kitchen. The environmental impact was minimized, the City View Residence is equipped with solar panels, isolated with bio foam and it has a system that collects rainwater and irrigates a large part of the land.
