Scott & Caroline designed and built The Contemporary Tiny House Holiday Retreat by hand during lockdown. A labour of love, the design combines the couple’s passion for contemporary design and interiors. Scott is one half of architecture duo LAMA. Caroline’s background is in buying for the Conran Shop & Heal’s and is now working for Nordic design brand, Åben. Fashioned in a contemporary architectural style and constructed with sustainable, eco-friendly building practices.

An inviting cosy space, enjoy restorative views from the picture window and long lie-ins in a luxurious super-king size bed. Sustainability is at the heart of the Bide. Designed using the Wikihouse system, the FSC wooden frame was cut by CNC and bolted together by hand. Low carbon materials have been used including sheep’s wool and woodfibre insulation.

Showcasing new sustainable technologies such as the Separette waterless toilet from Sweden, a decentralised MVHR system and the Nebia vapourised water shower which uses 40% less water than a regular shower. Situated on a working Dorset farm, soak up the spectacular views from the comfort of the cabin window, a wide screen to nature. The farm is located close to Milton Abbas, a picturesque village, famous for its quaint cob and thatched cottages & Milton Abbey.
