Mayuralaya Apartment, designed by Tushar Mistry Design Studio, beautifully merges aesthetics and functionality. Inspired by a peacock’s feather, the design captures the essence of grace and elegance. The young couple who commissioned the project wanted a home where they could create cherished memories with their children. Their inspiration led to the name “Mayuralaya,” meaning “peacock’s abode” in Sanskrit.
Art Deco with a Personalized Touch
Following the Art Deco style, architect Tushar Mistry added a bespoke and personal touch to each space. His approach, which emphasizes the importance of art in daily life, shapes the entire residence. Every element, from the furniture to the decor, complements the aesthetic while maintaining functionality.
The clients placed immense trust in the design team, allowing creative freedom. This resulted in a refined selection of materials and finishes. The colors of the walls, furniture, and decorative items blend harmoniously, creating a unified look that reflects both the family’s lifestyle and the designer’s artistic vision.
