Tinozza is a new and original product made by Minacciolo, received by the public of design events with interest and curiosity. Inspired by traditional objects, Tinozza facilitates placing kitchens in various spaces, both in open air or in the interior of buildings. This kitchen body was designed in three shapes that form the necessary minimum of a kitchen. The simple version offers all basic equipment of a kitchen. Another version is represented by Tinozza with sink and the third version includes a cooker with two flames. The shape is inspired, somehow ironically, by the ancient bathtub similar to a barrel, which in Italian was named Tinozza.
The materials that were used, for building it, were Oak wood and black steel. Tinozza is built like a wine barrel, the planks being bound by black steel bands. Tinozza with sink version has a metallic enameled tank which allows easily setting temperature and intensity of water. The inferior part of the Tinozza body can be opened and can be used in different ways. Under the sink, there is a detachable waste water purification system. The versions with cooking space include drawers to stock cutlery and other objects. Tinozza is rustic and modern, innovative and functional and it matches a cabin as well as a trendy house. You will find more on the website of Minacciolo.
