This incredible apartment, NoHo Residence, is industrial style upgraded with neoclassical and Art Deco presences, it is a two-story loft located in the Lower East Side, New York. The conception behind this charming residence belongs to the designers from Wettling Architects, the owner of the apartment is Bradley Darryl Wong known for his role as Dr. George Huang in the TV series Law & Order. On the first floor there is a bedroom with its own bathroom, a dressing room and a laundry room and the next level includes a large living room, kitchen, guest room, office, and a second bedroom which has its own bathroom. The owner’s desire was that the way the apartment is arranged to highlight here and there the historic of the building , whose purpose in the past was commercial. The wooden floors have been preserved and restored, the old doors and window frames of wood, and the plaster layers were removed to bring brick walls and vaulted ceilings to light. The varnished wood and brick are well balanced with the rich palette of colors, which gives the space a sharp personality. The presence of some show element props such as reflectors and piano give the space warmth, making it more inviting and relaxing. The layout NoHo Residence is adaptable, the space can be opened or intimate, and it can be divided as the owner wishes. Enjoy the photos!
