The Maison Berri project is located near Jean-Talon market in Villeray, at the heart of the hustle and bustle of a sought-after neighbourhood of Montreal.
The structure consist of four main spaces on two levels: three bedrooms, common area and the terrace, center of the project.
Access to the residence is via a winding gravel road, through dense forest with occasional glimpses of the pond. Arriving at a small parking area, the house remains hidden behind a stand of spruce.
Located in Austin’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood, this project was driven by the clients’ desire to turn an existing efficiency apartment into an inviting modern pool house.Â
However, if three such families united their efforts to buy a three-storey villa that needed reconstruction, we were sure it would be a very interesting experiment.
